Finance Policy Update & Risk Management
This month, updates were made to the SAY National Finance Policy. The Finance Policy is meant to help SAY Administrators ensure there are sufficient resources to keep the SAY Area/ District operating properly. The policy also helps ensure that these resources are used efficiently and effectively, and that accounting best practices are utilized. A transparent finance policy can help protect SAY Administrator(s) from other financial risks including unauthorized expenditures and theft of funds.

SAY East at FCC Stadium
SAY teams from Cincinnati East SAY had the honor of playing the inaugural matches at FC Cincinnati’s TQL Stadium this month. In a coming together of community leadership, the stadium’s ribbon cutting ceremony and open house featured youth soccer players as the first to take the field in the 26,000-seat stadium.
West End neighbors and families of the players were invited to join season ticket holders to get a first look at what will be the home of FC Cincinnati, now in their third season in the MLS. Matches took place throughout the day, and saw teams from the Passers, Strikers, Wings, and Kickers age divisions face off on two separate fields.
The day was made possible by Pat Kerrigan, president of SAY East, who even helped referee the matches. View more pictures on our Facebook, and read the full story HERE.
