Get Ready For 2021
SAY Soccer has been hard at work this winter! In the February 2021 edition of the SAY NEWS we are excited to share new and updated materials that will help our membership set themselves up for a successful 2021!

2021 SAY AGE STANDARDS
In 2021 SAY Soccer will be aligning its age standards and names with the updated SAY rulebook. You can find the age classification standards in the SAY organizational rules starting on page 6. Follow the link below to access the SAY Organizational Rulebook

Here is the updated rule:
The lower age must be reached and the higher age not exceeded prior to first date of the current “playing year”. “Playing year”, as it is defined here will:

  • USSoccer Standard (calendar year) commence on January 1 and conclude on December 31.
  • SAY Alternate Standard (school year) commence on August 1 and conclude on July 31

Please note that after 2021 the "Gold Age Matrix" will no longer be a "Standard" while SAY members are free to continue to use this method of age classification it is not a "Standard" included in the SAY rulebook.

Please feel free to reach out to the SAY office with any questions or inquiries.
