Split Affilliation


           It is not always the best option to affiliate all soccer players under one league affilation. The honest truth is many times you get your best bang for
           the buck by separating the club into recreational and competitive divisions. Affiliating the recreational side with SAY Soccer, the recreational soccer
           specialists, and the competitive side with another US Soccer Federation Member.

           This is perfectly legal under US Soccer Federation By-Laws
 
                      There are just four simple steps to follow:

                      1. Fill out the SAYArea Agreement naming your Area a somewhat different name than the name currently affiliated with the State Association.

                      2. Fill out your Board of Directors Form Board Form.

                      3. Open a seperate banking account for your SAY group.

                      4. Apply for affiliation under SAY's Non-Profit Group Exemption number to obtain non-profit status for your SAY Group.
