50th Anniversary Recap

We thank each and every one of you for attending our 50th Anniversary Annual General Meeting and Celebration. The weekend brought together many of those responsible for founding the Soccer Association for Youth, past National Presidents, past and present National Board members and a host of others that have played a part in the success of 50 years of Kids Having Fun.

Highlights included:

·         A golf scramble at Hidden Valley Golf Club
·         The Annual General Meeting of our membership
·         The Legacy Lounge featuring memorabilia from our 50 year history
·         A 5K Fun Run in honor of Neil Bradford with proceeds benefitting Red Card Cancer
·         A successful 3v3 tournament with 132 kids playing soccer on Saturday
·         A USSF Panel discussion live-streamed with more than 1,100 views in the first day
·         A National Partner luncheon
·         The 50th Anniversary Banquet celebrating our past and current successes

As we look back and reflect on the weekend, it is obvious that this celebration would not have been possible without your support and attendance. Our members are what make the SAY organization so special. We achieved this 50 year milestone due to your steadfast commitment to the children in your local communities over several generations.

Above all, the banquet celebration was a magical evening. Banquet attendees included SAY Founders and their families that began this journey, along with countless volunteers and SAY supporters that have been instrumental in the evolution of SAY Soccer over the last 50 years. All of these incredible people in one room at one moment in time was extremely special and an experience to behold.

In sincere appreciation and to the next 50 years!

50th Anniversary Banquet

This 2-day event culminates with a celebratory banquet on Saturday, July 15, where we will celebrate 50 years of SAY Soccer history.

Our keynote speaker for the evening is Nick Garcia, a current SAYArea president with Brookside Soccer Club, and a former USMNT player, former MLS player who played for the Kansas City Wizards, San Jose Earthquakes and Toronto FC during his career, and a collegiate player at Indiana University, where he helped the Hoosiers bring home consecutive national titles in 1998 and 1999.

Don't miss entertainment by national performing artist, Jym Elders, a mentalist and magician.

Of course we'll present awards, door prizes and a Founders tribute as we commemorate 50 years of Kid's Having Fun!
